Amuse Publicity and Events is primarily a publicity service for music events and music artists (or labels) who are touring and / or releasing a CD.
We offer our client 3 types (or sizes) of campaign but can easily cater this to suit the requirements of the artist / event.
A Standard Campaign would be for a tour and / or CD launch -approx 4 - 6 weeks of time in which we generate as much publicity as possible for the client -targeting - street press, newspapers, community newspapers, community radio, triple j, webzines, music magazines, uni press etc and if applicable, commercial radio and TV.
A Small Campaign would be approx 2 - 4 weeks of time, for a small music event, CD launch or small tour (generating publicity as above).
A Large Campaign would be for a large music event / festival, extensive tour, campaign requiring a bigger push toward commercial radio or other factors.
During the campaign, regular progress reports will be given to the client and advertising coordination will also be taken care of.
Amuse requires a minimum of 6 weeks lead time for any campaign (although 8 - 10 weeks is preferable) to ensure that they can gain the client as much publicity as possible. We also require a demo (for our own ears), at least 2 x images (photos - provided as 300 dpi jpegs or pdfs), an updated bio plus any other relevant info / material to help generate media interest (such as past reviews etc). We will also require CD's to send to relevant press and an industry standard release sheet to accompany the CD. (For more info on release sheets please send an email. Media servicing of CD's or CD mailout. A standard mailout would be - 200 CD's (along with a one page release sheet - provided by the client) sent to selected media and A&R, including - street press, music press, triple J, RTR, other community radio, booking agents, record labels, webzines, newspapers, management etc. The 200 recipients are chosen from focused and comprehensive lists in accordance with the goals of the client.
Other services which can be arranged include - bio writing, artwork (CD artwork, posters + release sheet design), preflighting, website design, video clips, distribution consultation and event coordination.
